Spriggans Holiday Cottage - Carnyorth, Cornwall

  • Spriggans is a charming early 19th century granite miner's cottage, close to St Just, in the beautiful wild west of Cornwall, and is newly available for self-catering holidays in 2012. It is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Carnyorth, and has recently been gently restored by artist Frankie Webb and her archaeologist partner Reg Jackson, to retain its history and character and originality.

    The cottage…

    • is comfortably furnished and equipped for 4 people
    • has sunny and generous gardens
    • off-road parking for 2 cars.
    • lovely views to the south over the fields, and westward, across fields to the sea
    • small studio with easel, and free sketchbook!
    • one well-behaved dog welcome, by arrangement
    • we are sorry but the cottage is not suitable for children under 5

From the front door you can walk up onto the moors, or down to the Atlantic cliffs.
